Deleon Springs in Florida. Officials said that a man fell into a well at 30 feet in Volusia County early Wednesday morning and could not get out.
The incident occurred in a wooded area south of DeLeon Springs, near Grand Avenue. The incident report states that three men aged 19, 19, and 20 had previously mow the lawn at the spot and informed Volusia County MPs they intended to return to climb into the well to “show off.”
According to the report, the teenager was trapped at the bottom of the well. His friends tried to get him out using a rope that was tied to an SUV. After they couldn’t free the 18 years old, his friends called 911.
“You’re leaving, don’t worry,” can be heard one of the men talking to a friend via the emergency number.
The 911 caller stated that the man was struck in the well because he just said he wanted the F out of it. He’s a bit upset.
The fire brigade used ropes and ladders to reach the man stuck in a water well for over an hour.
