Florida man tried to get into the wrong car.
According to surveillance footage, Steven Titlan 49, was seen moving from one car to another through a Tampa residential neighborhood earlier in the month. He was held captive seven times as the doors were locked.
Titland, already on probation for burglary, hooliganism, and theft, was able to do better the next day when he found an unlocked door.
The car was still there.
It contained several members of the Sheriff’s Strategic Objectives Response Team.
According to authorities, analysts had confirmed that Titland was the person who tried to rob the bank the night before.
Sheriff Pascoe’s Office posted a photo of surveillance footage to Facebook on Thursday and named Titland as a suspect.
Titland is charged with seven attempted burglaries
