MIAMI GARDENS (Florida). (WSVN). The family and friends of the victim in Miami Gardens were shot to death. The police are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect.
Lovers mourn the loss of 29-year-old, Dmitry Bernard.
“I am devastated. “I am devastated,” said a friend of the victim who declined to be identified.
She described Bernard to be kind and loyal.
She said, “He was loyal and passionate and so loving.”
According to Miami Gardens police Bernard was killed Monday night.
“They watched him, and almost killed him. A friend of the victim said that they shot him.
Bernard’s friend claimed that the incident occurred after her brother had left the Tootsie cabaret at 10:30 pm.
She said he was on his way home and that whoever was following him fired a barrage of bullets at the intersection of Northwest 199th Street & 32nd Avenue.
Bernard’s friend said that he had taken several shots.
Neighbors shared with 7News a video showing police officers arriving at their homes on a mobile device.
The victim was flown to a hospital where he died.
Bernard’s family appeals to the public for help in catching the criminals and hopefully finding closure as the police continue their search.
His friend stated that they wanted to find out if anyone had any information or if anyone was there that night.
Police believe it was a targeted attack.
