MP Matthew Vinson wrote, “Inside… I saw many pistols with price tags as well as serial numbers for Al’s Army or Navy.” “One bag also contained spray cans and (a) scrap. I also saw blood on many of the pistols and the handlebars of my bike. ”
According to records, Elliott tried to flee the area.

A gun store inspection found no signs of a break-in. However, the officer noticed a crack in the ceiling when he looked through the front door. This was also noted by the helicopter crew of the sheriff.
Three glass display cabinets were broken after the door was left unlocked. According to records, black paint was used on the floor to cover the blood.
Elliott was charged with Armed Robbery of A Building with a Firearm, Massive Theft of A Third Degree Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted felon, Criminal Injury, and the theft of a third-degree firearm.
He is currently in detention and cannot be released on bail for the additional sentence of suspended probation for his conviction of robbery using a dangerous weapon. The teenager had been arrested on five different charges prior to this.
According to police reports, only four of the 75 long guns and pistols that were stolen in the robbery were taken.
This isn’t the first time that robbers have targeted the Al’s Army fleet of Orlando.
The store’s main entrance was broken into by thieves who drove a stolen SUV. Crasnow set up emergency barriers in an effort to stop the incident from happening again.
Central Florida saw seven cases of shotgun burglary in gun shops.
The series of burglaries saw the theft of around 400 weapons.
According to records, robbers broke through Altamonte Springs’ Crasnow store’s back wall in 2013 and stole 58 guns.
According to the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, approximately 15,000 firearms are taken from gun shops across the nation each year.
